Our Boys

Roo is a super sweet boy and we're very excited to have him as one of our first homegrown studs. He inherited some of Rainforest Chim Chimeree's best traits. He has a nice ear set and shape with a noticeable back skull. We love his spotted legs and his puffy nose leather. And he has a decently thick and short tail which is partially rosetted. He was noticeably countershaded when he was younger, which has darkened and turned more subtle with age. Big paws and knuckles on this boy, too! He tends to produce friendly and confident kittens.

CheeseTake (his name is derived from his dad, Arkham Cheesecake, and his mom, Akerrs Take A Goodlook "Takara"; hence, CheeseTake) is a somewhat shy but loving boy. We love the rounded shape and set of his ears. He also has exceptional horizontal flow to his well defined rosettes. He carries the non-agouti (a, solid hairs) gene, which when paired with the leopard cat agouti (Apb, banded hairs) gene, can make the charcoal pattern. We've kind of fallen in love with the charcoal pattern, so we've added a couple more girls to the program that should produce charcoal kittens when paired with CheeseTake!

Soot was our first charcoal ever produced, and we had been trying for years for one. It was very exciting when he first arrived, but we didn't intend on holding back a boy. But the more Soot grew, the more we fell in love, not only with his striking charcoal pattern and big green eyes, but also with his affectionate and silly personality.

We'd been going back and forth on attending our very first TICA cat show in February 2026, and when we realized Soot would make the cutoff for the kitten class by a single week, we took that as a sign that he was here to stay. So we brought him to the show and we were very happy when he seemed to enjoy it! We went mostly just to meet other breeders in person, so we were pleasantly surprised and genuinely honored when Soot impressed some judges, even earning Best Bengal Kitten at one point.

Because Soot was related to all the other girls in our cattery, we had to change our 2026 plans pretty dramatically. Instead of adding a new boy in 2026, we are now focusing on bringing in new unrelated girls. But we still hope to have a new unrelated boy for 2027.

Bili is a long haired Devon Rex - which we didn't realize when we first got him because he hadn't grown into his full coat yet! But we don't mind - we think he's very cute as a little fluff ball in winter. We like his big ears that are set far apart on his head.

Bili is friendly and confident. He likes to be involved in whatever is going on, making him a true tripping hazard! He definitely has that grumpy cat look, but don't be fooled - he's 95% sugar and only 5% spice.
