Our Boys

Roo is a super sweet boy and we're very excited to have him as our next homegrown boy at BestView. He inherited some of Rainforest Chim Chimeree's best traits. He has a very nice horizontal flow to his pattern, puffy nose leather, countershading, and his tail is partially rosetted! He also has big paws with big knuckles and is a pretty big boy all around. He has an excellent temperament which we are also excited to pass down to his offspring.

CheeseTake (his name is derived from his dad, Cheesecake, and his mom, Take A Goodlook "Takara" — hence, CheeseTake) is a super sweet and confident boy. We love the rounded shape and set of his ears. He carries the non-agouti (a — solid hairs) pattern gene, which when paired with the leopard cat agouti (Apb — banded hairs) pattern gene, can make the charcoal pattern. When paired with Ree, who is a seal lynx point carrying the Apb gene, possible color and pattern combinations include brown, brown charcoal, seal lynx point, and charcoal seal lynx point.

Soot was never part of the plan — at least, not at first. We'd always assumed our next boy would come from outside, keeping genetics fresh in our program. But when Soot arrived with that jaw-dropping charcoal coat and striking wild look, keeping him stopped being a question and started to feel like fate.

And then fate kept delivering. We'd been going back and forth on attending our very first TICA cat show in February 2026 — and when we realized Soot would make the cutoff for the kitten class by a single week, we took that as a sign. We went mostly just to meet other breeders in person, so we were pleasantly surprised and genuinely honored when Soot impressed some judges — even earning Best Bengal Kitten at one point.

But what makes Soot truly special is his temperament. He is smart, playful, and endlessly affectionate — and he doesn't just tolerate being held like a baby, he seeks it out! He is exactly the kind of cat we strive to produce at BestView.

Because Soot is related to all of our current girls, he's also the reason we welcomed Razzmatazz into our program. We can't wait to see what the two of them bring into the world together.

Bili is super sweet! He LOVES attention and MUST be by his human! Don't let his RBF fool you, he's a lover! He is a long haired Devon Rex — in these pictures he has less hair, but in the winter he becomes a little fluff ball!
