At BestView, we believe the best companions are raised with love, fresh air, and a lot of heart. We are a small, in-home cattery operating across two beautiful California settings—the San Francisco Bay Area and the Sierra Nevada foothills.
Our breeding cats thrive at our foothills location, where they enjoy spacious outdoor runs filled with mountain air, sunlight, and local wildlife to watch. Our kittens are born indoors and raised underfoot, allowing them to grow up surrounded by the familiar sights and sounds of a busy household. They become part of our daily lives, often traveling between our two locations to ensure they are confident, well-socialized, and ready for their forever homes.
Whether you are looking for a bold Bengal or a charming Devon Rex, our mission is to provide you with a healthy, happy companion that is a genuine joy to live with.
Kitten meetings and pickups most often take place at our Bay Area location, but we are happy to arrange visits at our foothills property for clients closer to Sacramento and the Central Valley.

Prioritizing Personality
While Bengals are often celebrated for their striking patterns, we believe temperament is just as vital. Their personalities can range from fiercely independent to incredibly social; our program specifically focuses on nurturing those affectionate, “lap cat” qualities. While each kitten develops its own unique spirit, our BestView lines are known for their social, cuddly nature and a genuine love for human companionship.
Focus on Digestive Health
Digestive issues are a common problem for many Bengals and their owners, and it’s a challenge we faced personally with our first two pet Bengals. We wanted to make sure our kittens didn’t have those same struggles, so our homegrown cats have been selected for digestive resilience. While we still believe feeding a balanced raw diet is the absolute best option for cats, we believe a cat should be able to thrive on the high-quality diets most families prefer.
Comprehensive Health Testing
Every breeding cat in our program is genetically tested and receives regular HCM cardiac screenings performed by a board-certified cardiologist. As a TICA-registered cattery and proud signatories of the TICA Voluntary Code of Ethics, we stand behind the health of our kittens with a guarantee that covers common genetic diseases for life and fatal congenital defects for five years. Our commitment to rigorous screening allows us to provide you with lasting peace of mind and a healthy companion for years to come.
